I agree it's a shame to see how much the interest for d2 seems to have declined here in the last 6 months.

Fwiw I'm planning on signing up and giving a half-assed effort, but I haven't decided between Pit and Pindle yet.

It is really sad. I have noticed a sharp decline in the number of posts/threads coming through the spf in the last 3 months or so especially.

Unfortunately this MFO does not really mesh with the goals I have left in D2, but I am still toying with the idea if at least getting in the half-assed boat with Fabian. If I do, it will likely be in the pit.

I'm with Fabian. MFO is really one nice tradition of SPF. It's rather dishearting to see so many old players not participating, as well as lack of interest by new players.

Come on, wake up and join this thing.

I was kind of thinking that this would be the MFO of the MFO's, since it will probably be the last before D3. :scratchchin: And because of that I'm upset by the fact that I won't be able to make any significant amount of runs.

Well, here's hoping I'll find the other gold sacred armor...

It definitely won't be the last before D3. I plan to have a special pre-D3 MFO about 2-4 weeks before its released. There will one more, and more if its release falls past March or April.

Also just for planning, I won't run any category with less than 5 people. At the moment, that means I may combine the level 85 areas.

Bassano is on a bike trip across Turkey for whole month, otherwise he would definitely join and win ;).

I managed somewhat less than a half-assed effort last time around, and my schedule is not going to allow for much more next week... but it is the MFO after all. I don't want to see the AT category go that easily!

I'm putting myself down for a team if there are a couple folks willing to put up with a potentially lowsy score. I feel like I might need some extra motivation.

FWIW I don't think a good reason exists for having separate A85/AT categories any more. I think it would be a lot more fun to compete against 10 people than 4 (or whatever), even if the A85 category manages to get 5 participants.

now it is time for my first mfo. couple years i have lurked the earlier mfos threads but didn´t dare join because i was afraid that if i actually find something nice and i have to give it away but now i think that i have gathered enough wealth that it wouldn´d be that bad.

and nicely my gf is going to one week trip next friday which means one week diablo 2 vacation for me and i can run until my brains explode.
