Well I finally decided to make something with the zod I found a few pages ago. I wanted to make this runeword for once in my life, and also had this nice number lying around:

The ED% did help take it from a below average to above average roll which is nice, tho of course it wouldve been cool to get above 400! But I rolled up a nice whirlwind barb to use this thing and its been a blast! I love the look of the great poleaxe too. Here's a nice view of my new toy glinting in the sunlight. Cheers everyone!

That’s a pretty nice base but maybe not worth spending a quest reward on… Why not roll the dice with the cube recipe? Odds are on your side to get 3 sockets.

I was looking for a Lum rune because I've found a pretty good Smoke base and I was too lazy to check my Gomule stashes, but all I've found was a stinking Lo rune
BTW, if you had something 5 Lo and 3 Sur, would you cube 3 Sur + 2 Lo into 2 Ber to make your first Infinity?

@krischan No, but then I have an Infinity already. If I were to use all those Sur and Lo runes to make 2 Ber the next thing that would drop would be two Ber runes. I've got 4 Sur and 2 Ber runes sitting in a stash right now and the thought of cubing up a Cham so that I can make Plague has crossed my mind. However, the thought of all the Runewords that I could make with a Jah or two makes me say no. Also, just how many times am I going to use that Plague.

I have a spare Jah and Cham, so I could cube 2 Lo, 3 Sur, Jah and Cham up to Zod. I might have an ethereal Oculus somewhere...
Wait, I might have not have the gems for all recipes, so it's not going to happen. What a shame.

Don't worry, terror zones will give you plenty of them. Luckily, I've finished the grail by finding it shortly before we had Terror zones, but I've found another eight since then... one of them being perfect regarding lightning. I'm actually shorter on facets and Larzuk rewards than of stuff worth socketing!
