Neanderthal
Many GOPers lept to the defence of the 40k year extinct hominid race. Blackburn, McEnany, Hawley to name a few all expressed faux indignation. As usual, they stripped the context from Biden's quote and feigned grievous injury not just to the GOP but to the Neanderthal race too! The irony of this is not lost because many of these republicans crying foul are creationists.

The neanderthals thing is just a reference to Biden's recent hurling of ad hominems at people who disagreed with him. Specifically, Texas and Mississippi said they're going to lift the mask mandate, meaning they're just not going to punish you for not wearing one, citing the declining number of hospitalizations and the steady rollout of vaccinations. Of course, the paranoid woke lefties took this to mean those states are going to order people to not wear masks at all and attend cough-a-thon parties. Biden, wanting to pander to the wildly fascist left wing, decided to accuse them of "neanderthal thinking". Such is the level of intelligent discourse in America today.
Texas covid cases have averaged over 6100 new cases per day, an increase of 36% from the previous week. Mississippi has outbreaks in several cities of the new more transmissible variant.

The words that I would use to describe the implementation of these policies. would not be as diplomatic as Biden's.

I just had a peak at Texas:

One, hospitalizations are down 36%. That's different from new cases.

Two, new cases have gone down significantly since January. Around a 73% decrease.

I will not eat cheap animal products again.

If I want to eat those I go to a farm(?) or the butcher of my choice and buy stuff there.

Even the "Bio"-labeled(in Germany) stuff doesn't guarantee that the animals don't suffer until they are finally redeemed.

Also being vegetarian is bullshit, you think those Egg-chicks or Milk-Cows are not suffering?

But I'm schizophrenic anyways, I have a leather-wallet lol.
Cheap animal products are God's gift to Western Civilization. Anthony Bourdain's love of "street meat" would generally have gone unsatisfied in the U.S.; the closest you'll see is NYC "dirty water hot dogs". Plentiful protein is why Westerners & Americans in particular aren't the shrimpy little dweebs that Dark Ages Europeans were.

Mind you, I'm not overly fond of offal myself, but adore Pâté, liverwurst, and even liver on occasion. Sure, some people are horrified over the traditional method of feeding the goose, but are fatty human livers substantially different in end result? If there are ways to slaughter the animals humanely I'm all for them, but people want cheap food and aren't willing to pay for quality, which is why the biggest American INS raids for illegal aliens target meat-packing plants.

As someone with agrarian family ties, I'm more horrified by the pansy-arsed Proggies who think that chicken comes from the store or that a good burger is magically created by a Star Trek replicator. I share Bourdain's disgust at that tendency, which leads inevitably to abominations like "The Impossible Burger" which for all they know could be causing cancer to those eating it (well, not the soy-based "meat", but rather the fake blood that they inject to make it seem real rather than a grey paste).

It's all about tradeoffs.

Praise Biden from who all freestuffz flow, I suppose. I find it hilarious that 90% of Proggies believe he's doing a fantastic job, including curing the U.S. of Covid-19, because of course the Trump Administration didn't do anything about it & didn't even leave them a plan to fight the pandemic.

Yet Trumpkins are the stupid morons? :ROFLMAO:

Trump made a bad situation even worse by ignoring the pandemic and when he could no longer, downplaying the severity of the problem leaving someone else to clean up his mess. He dangled help in the form of funds and ppe to state governors and would only deliver after they groveled and debased themselves before the emperor. **** him. He is responsible for the needless deaths of thousands.

Ah yes, the "dangling of ppe to state governors". Another interesting look into the progressive mindset. The virus had just officially made it into the U.S. and the first thing the liberal state governors do is run to Trump and demand he give them ppe. This is after they had been attacking him as a xenophobe for restricting travel, of course.

Trump responds by asking them "Did you guys even try to secure a supply of your own before barging in here to make demands?" Naturally they hadn't because "it's the federal government's job to take care of us". After some back and forth, Trump finally said he'll go ahead and dip into the national stockpile. Ah, but low and behold, the national stockpile had not been resupplied after Obama had drained it for N1H1. Turns out there just weren't enough ppe to go around. The liberal governors blamed Trump for this as well.

Meanwhile, other state governors were busy saying thank you to the My Pillow guy, among others, who had retooled their factories to produce ppe all on their own and without some royal edict from the president ordering them to do so.

Just in case someone thinks that's an exaggeration, I can assure you it really isn't. I've actually met some of these people who were disgusted at the idea of drinking cow's milk instead of drinking milk from a grocery store like everyone else.

Trump had 3 years to restock if as you say Obama left the stockpile depleted. You and Kushner have the same outlook on the ownership of the national stockpile. "It is our stockpile" ...no, it belongs to the people and is meant to be distributed to states in time of emergencies.

The governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan did go out of the country to secure ppe supplies. He had to hid the details of the deliveries so that Trump and Kushner didn't seize the shipments so they could resell to their cronies in other states.

The mypillow douche was given thousands of $ in federal funding through the VA to manufacture masks. They could only make cloth masks, not n95 masks as promised. The order for the n95 masks was never fulfilled because he couldn't find a subcontractor.

Unfortunately this rot of Progressive collectivist management has deep roots, and despite Democrat types being the main advocates, it's certainly no stranger to the GOP.

As long as politicians can blame someone above them, they will.

When they can't, they will anyway, and hope that nobody notices.

I recall being horrified when Ray "Chocolate City" Nagin blamed Bush Jr. for his abysmal results because the *FEDERAL* Gov't hadn't organized the busing.

Ray Nagin interview said:
“I need 500 buses, man,” he told WWL. “One of the briefings we had they were talking about getting, you know, public school bus drivers to come down here and bus people out of here.”

Nagin described his response:

“I’m like – you’ve got to be kidding me. This is a natural disaster. Get every doggone Greyhound bus line in the country and get their asses moving to New Orleans.”

That's what's truly appalling about Socialists. They really want people like Nagin to give a loaded gun to people like me & hold the barrel to their head. People who have no scruples & are cavalier about pulling the trigger. No skin off their nose; just following orders, &c.

Well, that's admittedly a bit of an exaggeration. I'm far more ethically & morally conscious than probably 95% of Federal workers.

P.S. for a while my wife didn't demand that we keep our chickens penned. There's nothing quite as tasty as literally free range eggs straight from the chicken's coochie. Nowhere near as good when they're on layer feed only.

Do you understand the concept of an emergency supply? It's there for when all other avenues fail. It's not there to be the first thing you go to every time you want a snack.

Honestly I've came to the conclusion some time ago that the real reason progressives want to force people to "do the right thing", whatever they happen to define that as at any given time, is because they themselves are the kind of people who have to be forced to do so.

Personally I love it when they lecture Christians about how Jesus was a Socialist, and pretend that taxation is somehow charitable.

Particularly when they force others to pay it but dodge it themselves. Their beloved traitor, John Kerry, still hasn't been penalized for multiple years of tax evasion registering his schooner illegally to avoid dock fees/taxes.

Following the law is for the proles, obviously.

A pandemic is the definition of an emergency.

Can't wait for Trump to finally start paying more in taxes than a part time burger flipper.

So is bad weather, but as long as I can still get to the grocery store and have food on hand, you won't see me tearing into emergency ration bars at the first sign of snowfall.

Hospital staff treating covid patients were wearing garbage bags and were issued a single n95 mask that was supposed to last them 2 weeks. But sure, if you think it was morally right for Trump to sit on his mountain of PPE supplies and only send it to governors who french kissed his brown spot, then nothing I can say will change your mind. You are as morally broke as him, maybe more so.
