Standard of Heroes
A long while ago, when I was a lurker, I saw a link to a post on the Blizzard forums about the standard of heroes leading to a secret portal where you fight some uber monster that drops some uber item. It was clearly a joke, but I'm working weekends at a DV shelter and I don't have a whole lot to do to entertain myself.
Anyone have the link to that thread?
The guy made it look really legit, a lot of people believed him. It was obviously a troll, but it was still funny.
Also, I would like a link to the thing about the guy cybering in a chat room and then he goes like "And then I put on my wizard hat and robe"
I think it was posted by PhatTrumpet or Trebol or MouseWiz. Definitely was one of the old school bananas.
