Leda was a spartan queen in greek mythology, mother of Helena (woman who's abduction caused Trojan war) and Clytemnestra. It's a name of a drama play too, by a famous Croatian writer (Miroslav Krleza). Also led means ice in Croatian so yea :crazyeyes:

Since my switch to HC I've always wanted to make one last PvP character for tournaments because I always had fun dueling. This became possible when Antonio quit D2 and gave all his items to me to help my cause. Sorceress was always my favourite class, so I just had to decide on the build. I browsed through his stashes finding a DF, 15% NW and a Chilling GC with 38 life, I always liked FO more than blizzard in PvP so I began planning her and made an ISO thread in SPTF. Selling a Ber and some other items I bought her all the items she needed to become what she is today, I present you:

I have never done any pvp in D2 but just out of curiosity how do you counter a beast like this?

Beauty of PvP is that every build has it's nemesis. Poison and open wounds bypass the ES and directly damage the life bulb making builds based around those types of damage a lot more dangerous to an ES sorc than others.

Congratulations on putting this awesome char together. The godly gear (Perfect +cold damage% gear, 4 chillings of vita, and last but not least, the ridiculously OP beta CtA, which you must gieb to me) just shows your incredible dedication.

I have a question, but I don't pvp so I might be missing something. I don't understand why only 15 IB? I mean, wouldn't you be better off with 20 IB and 15 ES, cause you could have used a +3 Lightning ammy/circlet + a few Sparkling charms to prebuff ES to 40.

Anyway, ~1400 damage Orb is a world of hurt. I predict her PvP career will be a short one, cause no one in their right mind would fight that monster you created

Congrats Darkoooo on a masterful character. Having done very little PvP in my D2 days, I probably can't fully appreciate how good this character really is...but reading through that equipment list is enough for me to know that I would not want to cross paths with Leda :scared:. Well done.

Yea, well the thing is that I'm just too lazy to prebuff with all those items and it gets tedious very soon (especially with the skillers). I had a sorc once that used all the items for prebuffing you suggested and I got sick of it very soon so I usually dueled with a ~7 levels lower ES. This way I only need Memory and I could in theory finish this build at lvl 98 which ain't that impossible to achieve.

I think this is going to be the only one for the time being. I don't have much time to make a new pvp character and I'm having much more fun playing in HC. If I were to make a new character though, I think I'd make a paladin (hammer/charge perhaps?). Looking forward seeing you on the moor

I understand traps have a bigger range than my FO so they require extra tactic, but why fire sorces? In the past I haven't had big troubles (like the ones with trappers) with fire sorces unless they were extremely defensive.
