Cannot connect to USEast

Hello all,

I recently gained access to my blizzard store account with all of my cd keys attached to it. So, I downloaded Diablo II so that I could play online. Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect to Diablo II US East since I installed. I have never connected to battle.net from this computer or from this ip address. I recently moved apartments, so this ip address should not be listed for my account.

I did have Diablo II installed. I played single player with the single player forum on this site for about six months or so. I renamed and moved that Diablo II directory when I downloaded the one that will work with battle.net. (I used free cd keys I found online to install D2 for single player)

I can connect to US West, Europe, and Asia. I cannot connect to East. It has to be this ip address. I just left my friends house. While I was there, I played on US East with Socialism and some other people. Now that I am back home, I cannot connect again. I'm not sure why this is happening.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Cannot connect to USEast

"Unable to Connect"

I am pretty sure it stems from when I played single player and used a fake cd key to install the game. It was before I could find my legit cd keys. Probably on the 2 week ban that everyone seems to be talking about when I googled unable to connect. It must be a more recent thing they added because I don't remember hearing about this in previous years.

Did you ever get a resolution for this? I did the exact same thing, downloaded officially from b.net legit CD keys, plays everythign fine, Asia, USwest, Europe, but no USeast... What am I doing wrong? It's not my router settings.
