1.00 CDs, have you seen them?

Oh, hi! I'm kinda, sorta, playing again..

So, I remember reading about someone's quest through 1.00 classic and I was wondering if that someone or some other someone would be kind enough to upload those ancient ISOs?

I honestly don't know if that's allowed...if you have the original D2 disc - that's 1.00.
LoD will always be at least 1.07.

You can download the D2C patches from here, but they start from 1.01. I'm not sure what you'd need to do to install then either.

@Grisu, you mean..illegal? Dunno either, I'd still use my keys to install them.

My discs are patched up and as far as I'm aware there's no way to downgrade.

Its possible the version is 1.01. I don't really remember.

What patch do your discs say? Install the game and check the version from the opening screen.

You can use Trenshadow to version switch.

Hm, I've checked the rules again and found no mention of this subject..

Since I've lost my physical discs years ago I bought new ones recently because I wasn't able to play older versions with ISOs. Unfortunately the new CDs came patched to 1.12. My ISOed LoD is 1.07, don't remember which version classic is, but I know it isn't 1.00/1.01.

Yeah with transhadow you just need a classic disc, even if it's more recent.

Hah..and thats all I need then. I was mislead by the time traveler's guide since it says you must have old discs to go beyond 07 and its written so above the section about trans.
