Benchmarks for the new AMD 5900X series vs Intel

Thanks for that. Really useful! I recently slammed in a 3900X in my latest upgrade and it still fairs OK in comparison when you take price into account. I jumped from Intel to AMD for the first time ever and don't regret it. So far things have been running really well including video editing apps etc.

I actually went for a 2070 in this new machine thinking that when the 30 series came out I would just upgrade. Annoyingly the 30 series came out a week after the machine arrived so need to upgrade sooner rather than later to be cutting edge again May look at the AMD cards though too for this next generation but the 2070 is fine for a bit.

I will likely be buying a 6800 series card along with a 5900 processor.


It's a whole new system for me and I have the budget so why not.
